ReplyDeleteThe first tip off is the fact that I haven't tried to get this position. I am always suspicious when I'm given a job I didn't apply for. Besides, this is a common scam that has been going around for years.
ReplyDeleteThe first tip off is that they are going to pay $250.00 for doing the shop, second is "Before any assignment we would provide you with the resources needed {cash}Mostly,you would be sent a check,which you can cash and use for the assignment." No legitimate company pays before you do the work, or they would all be out of business. Third they mention that Western Union is one of the companies they Mystery Shop for. They are setting you up to believe that you might be doing a mystery shop for Western Union which is a money transfer company, so they can send you a check for you to cash and withdraw money from your own account, you cash it and are given instructions to keep a portion of the money for yourself and then are instructed to Western Union wire money to a thrid party, the wire is actually going to a non traceable person....ie: the scam artist after you have done this the back typically calls or sends you a letter saying that they are deducting the full check amount from your account because it was a fake or bad check, they even fake cashiers checks. I just received the same scam email! From Stacy Becker but from a diffenent email address. msbecker@secretevaluationinc.com. Beware these people are definitely scam artists!!!!!!!!
